John Paul (JP) Jones has worked in the telecommunications tower industry since the age of 16 and has erected, modified and maintained all types of towers and antenna systems in 27 different countries around the globe. For the past 18 years, John Paul has been heavily involved in training and educating over 2000 tower workers in fall protection, rescue and tower safety. John Paul is President of Safety LMS and President of Tower & Turbine Technologies LLC.

John Paul currently presides on the NATE Board of Directors and is the Chairman of the NATE OSHA Relations Committee. He also serves as an active member of the ANSI 10.48 Committee and the Tower Gin Pole Summit group for TIA 1019-A. John Paul is also a member of the telecommunications tower group within Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT).

John Paul believes that through the active involvement in these organizations and advancements in standards, engineering, training and best practices, the telecommunications tower industry can become a much safer place to work.
