George Kerstetter

George Kerstetter, CUSP is the National Solutions Engineer at PerfectVision. He has over 25 years of safety experience in the telecommunications industry and holds two United States Patents for safety products. He is the current Chair of the NATE Small Cell and DAS Committee, and a member of the SEMC, Climber Connection and Military Member Committees.

In 2020 George helped to develop the NATE Susan G. Harwood Grant for 5G-Small Cell Deployment. George has published several articles on the topic of safety and how it relates to the industry. He developed the course material and produced a line of safety videos for the Verizon Wireless Small Cell training program. He served as a HAZMAT Group Supervisor, Safety Officer and HAZMAT Specialist, as well as a former volunteer NYS EMT, and Rescue Diver.

George began his career as a telecommunications lineman and worked up through the ranks before leaving Verizon in 2018, he was the Global EH&S Manager for the Northeast and Midwest. With his extensive background in Emergency Management he was deployed to most of the natural and man-made disasters over two decades, including The World Trade Center, Hurricanes Rita, Katrina and Sandy, and the CSX train derailment in Hyndman, PA.
