“Canadians benefit from some of the most advanced wireless networks in the world: networks we would not have without the skill, hard work and dedication of a specialized and skilled tower industry,” said Rob Ghiz, President/CEO of the CWTA. “Canada’s facilities-based carriers are investing billions to deploy and expand wireless networks. STAC members play a critical role in network expansion, providing highly-specialized skills.”

“The pandemic has highlighted the importance of Canada’s wireless communications networks,” added Ghiz. “The STAC 2022 Conference and Exhibition will examine numerous important topics, from the impact of climate change and what it might mean for tower engineering, to the future of the industry workforce. And, as always, there will be discussion of safety on the work site and the sharing of best practices.”
